As you all know, I am a die hard, dedicated, passionate leftist. There’s no way around it. I’m just a progressive, enlightened guy, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

So I was excited over the last week to read the stories out of Idaho and Texas. In one case, a mayor tried to subpoena the sermons of conservative pastors, alleging that they might contain anti-gay material. In another, a for-profit wedding chapel has been informed that it could be forced to perform gay weddings, despite the religious beliefs of its owners.

Now, with these cases in mind, along with all of the other similar cases that pop up seemingly every week, I will finally explain the obvious: that the stage is set and the pieces are in place for the government to try and force churches to perform gay weddings.

Many conservatives are still too oblivious, scared, or apathetic to see that when they compromise and accept ‘anti-discrimination’ laws, they’ve ALREADY ACCEPTED the premise that will eventually lead to effectively outlawing Christianity in this country.

As a liberal man, I’m quite pleased by these developments. But in case you still don’t understand where this is headed, and why it’s headed in that direction, I thought I’d spell it out for all of you backwards conservative rubes. You’re welcome:
